Hi Rick,

We were trying to find a sample source file to unzip cad files from our
customer.

We connected to a vb down load size and down loaded from
www.freedownloadcenter.com <.

Then wammo a virus took out the client pc as well as the firewall.

We are trying to recover from adware save-now.

Has this ever happen to you.

How do you prequalify sites before downloading.

This even has taken hours/days to recover.

How do you know when your clean.

We are using Symantec which did not stop it.

Is there anything better.

This has been very costly.

Thanks for your insight,

John Mansfield

If you want the control, you can download it, it is free. If you want
Visual Studio, you are bumming unless you buy it.

Hi
Does anybody know how to handle ZIP files in VB6?

By this i mean open the file and show a list of all files in the ZIP.
Add and extract files to and fromthe ZIP. How to apply any password
protection that may be on the file. How to re-write the ZIP file.

Absolutely any help appreciated.

Thanks in advance
BidSki

Symantec, as far as I'm concerned, is the best anti virus around.
Unfortunately, it does not stop spyware, as you have found out. I use
spybot,, and adaware,
, for spyware. I highly
recommend using 2 or 3 adware programs.
