Hi I am new here and have quite a bit to explain about my problem. In the summer around may when I switched out some parts in my computer in order to make it less noisy, yet what I did not realize was that the power supply I put in had less amps then dual rail I took Out (I did not even know there was dual rail until I ran into problems later). yet I did not experience any problems at first. after a few weeks passed by my computer began to experience blue screens of death. It seemed kind of random since most of the times I was receiving a random stop error. I decided to reinstall windows, everything was going fine until the install got hung up and my computer restarted. yet when it restarted everything seemed to install ok. I played around with my computer a bit but after a little while I got random blue screens again. so this time I looked at the different parts of my pc and realized that the power supply I had only had 18 amps while the one I replaced it with had a total of like 30 amps with the dual rails. I switched them back and stuff seemed to be working fine. yet I have begun getting random errors again and am not sure if it is due to faulty hardware, bad install of windows, or still and insufficient power supply. I was thinking of just reinstalling windows again but wanted to find out what kind of problem this could be. well thanks in advance to anyone who helps and happy holidays.
